Our Policies

Cancellation policy:

  1. In order to book an appointment, a valid and active credit card with your information will have to be added and stored in our system.
  2. A cancellation fee is equivalent to 100% of the full cost of your entire booked services.
  3. A minimum of 24 hr notice from your booked appointment date and time must be given when rescheduling or cancelling your appointment; failure to do so, you will be charged a cancellation fee which means your credit card on file will be charged the full amount of your booked services. NO EXCEPTIONS!
  4. If you absolutely must reschedule or cancel your appointment, although it is still your responsibility to give a minimum of 24 hr notice, giving as much advanced notice as possible will be greatly appreciated!
  5. Failure to call or show up on the day of your appointment will result in a cancellation fee and being banned from ever getting services from Jessica’s Nails Studio. Please be mindful, this is a service industry operating at 100% commission based, if you don’t show up, we don’t get paid and in order to stay in business, we need to consistently maintain our slots filled.
  6. It is extremely important that you book for the right services due to time constraints; therefore, if you’re unsure of which services you should book for, please reach out and you will gladly be guided into booking for the correct services. Also keep in mind, the health of your natural nails will always be our number one concern, which means you will be given the best, most professional recommendation for the health of your natural nails taking into consideration your ultimate goals for your natural nails; it will ultimately be up to you if you’d like to follow those recommendations knowing the risks otherwise.
  7. Please be aware, once you book for your services, you will not be able to make changes of the services you booked for, unless you would like to upgrade any of your services if time allows, for example: adding a French design to your manicure last minute. Again, this will only be possible if the time to do the French design is available. Absolutely no downgrading services or removing services on the day of the appointment. It is very difficult to fill any missing gaps last minute.

Punctuality Policy:

  1. It is of utmost importance that you make it to your appointment on time. This is imperative in order to minimize stress in our work space. We strive to make this space stress free and maintain a zen, relaxed environment, help us keep it that way!
  2. kindly arrive 5-10 min early from your appointment time.
  3. When arriving, please send a notification via text informing you have arrived.
  4. Please be respectful of everyone’s time. When you’re late, it messes up the flow of upcoming appointments and guests for that day.
  5. If for any reason you know you will be late, please send notification via text or call immediately.
  6. If you’re 15+ min late, your appointment may be canceled, thus resulting in having a cancellation fee of the full 100% cost of your booked services.
  7. If you arrive up to 15 min late from your appointment time and you are still going to be attended to your booked services, please expect for part of your services to be shortened and still be charged 100% for all booked services.

Covid 19 Policy:

  1. If you have been exposed to someone who has Covid 19, it is your responsibility to get tested prior to your scheduled appointment; furthermore, if you suspect you have been infected with Covid 19, you still need to send notification of at least 24 hrs before your appointment time, failure to do so, a cancellation fee will be applied.

Product Lifting Policy:

  1. If you’re experiencing product lifting or chipping within five days of performed services, you may send notification to receive a nail fix service at no cost. A picture of damaged nail must be sent within the five day period. If you experience lifting or chipping after five days from your service date, you will have to pay to fix your nail(s)

Kids/Food Policy:

  1. ABSOLUTELY NO KIDS ALLOWED. Our intentions are to give you the best service possible with the utmost relaxed ambiance and without any distractions.
  2. Please DO NOT bring food to our work space, the smell of food can distract and disturb the ambiance of our work space and that of our neighboring salon lofts owners. Keep in mind there will always be snacks, coffee and water available at your disposal.

Phone Usage Policy:

  1. Please bring a set of wireless headsets if you will need to be on your phone periodically answering phone calls or making a call. While in a manicure, your hands can’t be touching anything in order to have a successful, beautiful and long lasting manicure.
  2. Please respect the time in which you’re being serviced and follow your nail tech’s instructions.
  3. These three things are absolutely vital to respect and follow while being in a manicure service:
    No texting and no answering calls without a wireless set of headsets.
    No sudden movements or fidgeting. You may either get cut when getting your cuticles trimmed, get burned with the E-File or your polish application will not be crisp and flawless.
    Be mindful of your body moving while talking, as it is ok to chat and have a good time while getting your service, it is of highly importance that your manicure comes out clean, professional, structurally correct and most of all lasts 3-4 weeks.
